What do you get?

  • 4 recorded class sessions (each video is approximately 2 hours long, for a total of over 8 hours of instruction)
  • PDF slide decks to accompany each video
  • A variety of other handouts, additional resources, external links and other videos to supplement the course material
  • Access to all of the above through December 31, 2024
  • Instructor Ellen Bell is also available via phone, text, or email to answer questions throughout the year!

What makes this class different?

The mission of Bell Farm's beekeeping classes are to promote the art of local beekeeping, year round. Ellen has been keeping bees and wintering them in Iowa for nearly a decade, and the emphasis of all our classes is on how you can be successful keeping bees here, in our climate.

After making your purchase, you will receive an email with a download link to a PDF welcome letter. Be sure to print or save this letter, as it contains instructions on how to access the class recordings, slide decks, handouts, and other supplemental materials. You will have access to all this content through the end of 2024. Videos can be rewatched as many times as you wish, through the end of the year.

The recording is for personal use only by the original purchaser. Sharing and/or unauthorized distribution is strictly prohibited.

**A special note about your location**
We understand that, by the very nature of being held online, a virtual class has no geographic limitations. However, beekeeping is a very localized endeavor, and our expertise is in keeping bees in Iowa. If you will be keeping bees elsewhere, we encourage you to find a class closer to you.
